7 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Jorge Soler was removed from Friday's game after fouling a pitch off his foot, and the team announced later that X-rays were negative. He is officially considered day-to-day with a bone bruise on his left big toe. The injury is not considered to be serious, but it's likely he'll be sidelined for a couple days since the big toe is usually a pretty important part of running, a necessary skill in playing outfield or running the bases. Especially with the team scuffling, it wouldn't be surprising for them to give Soler a couple days off to fully recover.--Billy Stonick - RotoBaller
