Jorge Mateo Steals His Third Base Friday

San Diego Padres utility man Jorge Mateo entered the game as a pinch-hitter Friday, and though he grounded into a force-out, he managed to steal his third base of the year in the ensuing at-bat. Mateo has plenty of speed, but he just isn't seeing enough playing time to be on fantasy radars. Mateo has just eight at-bats over his last seven games, and he's gone hitless in that time. With just a .534 OPS on the year, it's understandable that he's been relegated to last-man-on-the-bench status, and he should be far away from fantasy rosters.
