Jorge Bonifacio Is Solid For Deep Leagues
7 years agoJorge Bonifacio had a strong rookie season in 2017. Bonifacio was the Jorge in KC’s organization that no one really thought of before the season as all the attention was on Jorge Soler instead, but Bonifacio far outperformed the former Cub. Bonifacio didn’t set the world on fire with his 17 home runs and .255 batting average, but it was a solid start to a career for the 24-year-old. Heading into 2018, Bonifacio is penciled in to be the starting right fielder and expected to bring more of the same. Expect a line of about 18 homers, .250 batting average, and almost no runs or RBIs because the majority of Kansas City’s lineup is terrible. Overall, he shouldn’t be drafted in most leagues, but he’ll probably be a guy who is picked up and dropped by various owners a half dozen times throughout the season.
