Did we see a new and improved version of Jordan Spieth during the CJ Cup? His results might say so with a respectable share of eighth place, but his statistical numbers looked to mimic his struggles during the 2019 season. Spieth recorded the best showing in the field when it came to putts per green in regulation, but the American continued to struggle off the tee, hitting only 55.36% of fairways - good for 75th out of 76 qualifying players. Narashino Country Club features tree-lined fairways this week, so the 37th-ranked player in the world will need to be careful if he doesn't want to find trouble off the tee in Japan. --Spencer Aguiar - RotoBaller
