Jordan Reed Unlikely To Return To Redskins
Jordan Reed (concussion), who missed all of last season with his seventh documented concussion, is unlikely to return to the team in 2020. Reed hasn't played more than 13 games in a season since 2015, and he is an obvious cut candidate with a salary cap hit of $10.3 million in 2020. The 'Skins could save $8.5 million if they release him. It's also not a certainty that Reed will continue his playing career because of all the head injuries he's suffered. Even if he returns next season for the Redskins or another team, most fantasy owners would be wise not to invest much in Reed as anything more than a low-end TE2 with potential upside if he's healthy.
