11 months agoRight-handed pitcher Jordan Lyles was claimed off waivers on Sunday by the Milwaukee Brewers from the San Diego Padres. Lyles was serviceable for the Friars with a 4.29 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 7.8 K/9 in 24 appearances including eight starts. With former Padres starter Tyson Ross also claimed by the St. Louis Cardinals, San Diego’s younger arms currently in the minors will have an opportunity to prove their worth for the big league club. Lyles role with the Brewers is undetermined, but demand for his services in fantasy leagues should remain modest.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
