Jordan Howard Questionable To Return Against Giants
3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard is questionable to return on Sunday against the New York Giants after suffering a stinger. Before leaving late in the second half, Howard had a team-high nine carries for 37 yards (4.1 yards per carry) and hauled in two of his four targets for an additional 19 yards in the passing game. Miles Sanders (hand) left the game earlier and was ruled out, so Philly's backfield went from being fully healthy coming into this game to being down to Boston Scott and rookie Kenneth Gainwell. Scott should be the primary back the rest of the way if Howard cannot return, and he'll be a priority waiver-wire addition heading into Week 17 action if Sanders and/or Howard are in danger of missing time. Gainwell would be attractive as a PPR flier in deeper leagues.
