Jordan Howard Could Become Involved
3 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles could elevate running back Jordan Howard from the practice squad to the active roster and use him in between the tackles alongside rookie Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott if Miles Sanders (ankle) can't play in Week 8 against the Detroit Lions. The Eagles haven't been running the ball much this year, but to be fair, they've fallen behind often and haven't had the luxury of sticking with the ground attack. That could change this weekend against the winless Lions, but if all three of Gainwell, Scott and Howard are used if Sanders sits, it'll be hard to predict which back might have the most fantasy success. The best bet is that Scott handles early downs, Gainwell handles passing situations and Howard handles short-yardage/goal-line looks, if he's elevated from the practice squad.
