Finnish forward Joonas Donsoi has announced his retirement from professional hockey, citing multiple concussions. The 31-year-old missed the entire 2023-23 campaign after colliding with a teammate in a preseason game and suffered a concussion. He became a free agent this summer after completing a four-year, $15.6 million deal as a member of the Seattle Kraken. Donskoi made his NHL debut with the San Jose Sharks in 2015-16 and also spent a couple of seasons with the Colorado Avalanche. He featured in 474 regular-season games, scoring 80 goals and delivering 128 assists.--Taavi PailkRead More News
