Minnesota Wild defenseman Jonas Brodin has suffered a lower-body injury and is set to miss Thursday's matchup versus Edmonton. He had only just returned to the lineup from an illness, posting an assist in Sunday's 4-3 win over Arizona. Brodin has recorded only four points this season, but he is a key man on the defensive side of things for the Wild and also the team leader in average ice time, having logged exactly 22 minutes per game. Matt Dumba will likely be paired with Alex Goligoski again on the second defensive pairing. The veteran blue-liner recently had a nice two-point outing in a game that Brodin missed, but Goligoski looks way past his best and has totaled only three points for the whole campaign, so he won't be a good option for fantasy managers.--Taavi Pailk
