Minnesota Wild defenseman Jonas Brodin (undisclosed) exited Friday's contest against the Colorado Avalanche early. After the contest, head coach John Hynes did not provide an update on his status. Before exiting, Brodin logged just over 15 minutes of ice time. He logged four blocked shots, one shot on goal, with two penalty minutes. Fantasy managers should monitor his status leading up to their next contest on Sunday afternoon against the Boston Bruins. Over his previous seven games, Brodin has tallied two points (both helpers) with six shots on goal, 14 blocked shots, two hits, and six penalty minutes. While sidelined, fantasy managers should expect Jake Middleton to have an increase in ice time. Over his last six, Middleton has logged 13 blocks with one helper.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
