Johnny Mundt's Injury Doesn't Look Good
3 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay isn't sure how serious tight end Johnny Mundt's (knee) injury is, but he also said "it doesn't look good right now." It sounds as though Mundt will at least miss the Week 7 game against the Detroit Lions, and he could miss more action, depending on what the final diagnosis is. Mundt isn't even close to being on the fantasy radar as the backup to Tyler Higbee, who has dominated tight end targets for LA this year. Mundt has caught his only target for a nine-yard reception in six games this season. With the 26-year-old likely on the shelf for a bit, Jacob Harris will be the next man up behind Higbee as more of a blocking specialist for the Rams.
