Toronto Maple Leafs center John Tavares rocked the Tampa Bay Lightning with a hat trick in Thursday's 7-2 win. He netted once in each period, wrapping up the hat trick with a power-play goal five minutes from the end of regulation. Tavares became only the fourth Maple Leafs player in 30 years with a postseason hat trick. Alexander Mogilny in 2003 was the last player to enjoy a three-goal game in the playoffs with Toronto.
