John Hicks Looks To Stay Hot Sunday
7 years agoDetroit Tigers first baseman John Hicks is batting cleanup on Sunday in a great matchup against Wade LeBlanc. Hicks has been very productive with a .318 average and .878 OPS over his last seven games. He looks to stay hot on Sunday against the lefty Wade LeBlanc, who owns a 4.50 ERA in home games and a 9.00 ERA during day games. Meanwhile, Hicks has a slash line of .381/.500/.571 against left handers this season, so the conditions seem to line up perfectly for him. Hicks has quietly been productive all season with a .297/.350/.516 slash line and possibly his biggest asset is that he is eligible at catcher. Not only is he eligible, he is currently the ninth ranked catcher in fantasy baseball and needs to be owned in more than 30% of leagues.
