The Miami Marlins placed infielders Joey Wendle (hamstring) and Brian Anderson (back) on the injured list on Wednesday. Wendle will go back to the injured list due to a right hamstring strain, while Anderson is dealing with back spasms. Wendle left the game early on Monday against the Colorado Rockies with right hamstring pain just two weeks after a stay on the IL for the same hamstring. Fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised if he's out longer this time around. He was hitting a solid .284/.340/.420 with two home runs, 11 RBI, 12 runs scored and four steals in 88 at-bats. With both Wendle and Anderson on the shelf, Luke Williams will see increased playing time at the hot corner. He's starting at third base and is batting ninth in Game 1 of a doubleheader against Colorado Rockies right-hander Antonio Senzatela on Wednesday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
