Los Angeles Chargers defensive end/linebacker Joey Bosa has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup with the Texans after landing on the league's Reserve/COVID-19 list. He is not vaccinated. Bosa has been on a dominant stretch for the Chargers defense, having recorded a sack in six of his last seven games. The three-time Pro Bowler has amassed 43 tackles, 20 quarterback hits, nine sacks and a league-high six forced fumbles across his first 14 games this year. L.A.'s defense was already on the outskirts of fantasy consideration in a vast majority of formats, having yielded 370 points this year, which is tied for the fifth most in the league. Bosa's absence, even against a below-average Houston offense, likely keeps them off the board in shallow formats.--Jesse Borek
