2 years agoDallas Stars winger Joel Kiviranta is set to miss some time with a lower-body injury. He will sit out his first game of the season Wednesday versus Minnesota, with Marian Studenic coming into the lineup to replace him. It's a change on the fourth line and should have very little effect on the team's play. Kiviranta has managed only six points in 52 games with 70 shots and 84 hits. Studenic has enjoyed a decent AHL campaign with 30 points in 43 appearances, but he has done very little on the NHL level in his career so far, posting three goals and three assists in 41 outings.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
