Minnesota Wild center Joel Eriksson Ek scored the team's only goal in Tuesday's big 4-1 home loss against the Sharks, striking 5:25 into the second period. Kevin Fiala and Jonas Brodin tallied the assists. Eriksson Ek now has six goals for the campaign and half of them have come this month. He's notched eight points in 15 outings with 40 shots, 24 hits and a plus-two rating. It would be nice to see Eriksson Ek score more consistently, but he isn't a bad fantasy piece to have, as he puts in a lot of work on a nightly basis and fills the stat sheet regularly.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
