2 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid was in dominant form in a losing effort against Memphis on Friday, scoring a game-high 35 points on 13-for-26 shooting and posting 11 rebounds and eight assists with one steal and three blocks. He shot 1-for-3 from outside and 8-for-9 at the line while committing three turnovers in 41 minutes. The Process had a quiet 19-point evening in his previous outing but that marks his only effort without 30-plus points in his past seven appearances. He has shown off very good form, and the next matchup should be particularly fruitful for Embiid, as the Sixers get ready to face the Rockets, who are allowing centers to shoot over 62 percent from the field this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
