2 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid scored with ease against the Hawks on Saturday, putting up a season-high 42 points in a 121-109 win. He nailed one of his six three-point attempts but shot a solid 14-for-25 overall from the field and had a good 13-for-16 record at the line. Embiid also posted his third consecutive double-double with 10 rebounds and tallied six assists with two steals, two blocks and four turnovers in 40 minutes. This was a monster effort, and it's made even more impressive by the fact that Embiid tweaked his left ankle in the game. The injury puts his status for Sunday's meeting with Utah in doubt. If he is able to play, Embiid will find himself in a matchup against a team that has given up a league-high 19.5 rebounds per 48 minutes to centers this season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
