2 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (concussion), who missed the Week 12 win over the Tennessee Titans due to a concussion, "is trending in the direction" of being able to play in Week 13 against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to a source. Mixon remains in the league's concussion protocol on Monday, but he's making good progress and is expected to be cleared later this week. Fantasy managers will want to pay close attention to his practice status, but the 26-year-old should be returned to starting lineups in all leagues if he's active on Sunday against KC. Samaje Perine has been an excellent plug-and-play fill-in, carrying the ball 28 times for 88 yards and a touchdown while catching eight passes for 87 yards and three more TDs in the last two games.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
