Joe Mixon Totals 63 Yards As Offense Sputters
Joe Mixon carried 15 times for 62 yards (4.1 yards per carry) and hauled in four of five targets for one yard in Monday's 27-3 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Bengals offense had a really tough night, as they were only able to generate 175 total yards and were forced to punt five times. The offensive line, in particular, continues to be a glaring weakness for the team. Mixon is averaging just 2.7 yards per carry and has only one touchdown in 2019, though he has shown improvement by putting up double-digit fantasy totals the past two weeks. Mixon should be viewed as a middle-tier RB2 heading into Week 5's exploitable matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.
