2 years agoJoaquin Buckley's move to welterweight proved to be a great decision after his impressive win on Saturday. Buckley scored a victory via a head kick against Andre Fialho in the second round. Buckley returned to welterweight for the first time in the Octagon, and the first time since April of 2018. His busy 2022 concluded with two consecutive losses, dropping bouts to Nassourdine Imavov and Chris Curtis. In 9:15 of action, Buckley tallied 26 significant strikes. With the victory, Buckley improves to 6-4 in the UFC. Buckley has stated that he feels more motivated and will aim for the belt at welterweight.
