Jo Adell May Be Turning Corner At Triple-A
4 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfield prospect Jo Adell went deep twice on Friday and had his second straight three-hit game at Triple-A. The 22-year-old entered June hitting .235 but now has his batting average up to .270. He leads the minor leagues in home runs with 14 but had been striking out at an alarming rate and well over 35% of the time. Adell struck out 42% of the time and hit just .161 during his first taste of MLB action in 2020. Although he hasn't walked since May 20, his whiffs have been down since the beginning of June and he has just two strikeouts over his past three games. If Adell can meld his prodigious power with a more well-round approach as a hitter, he could still develop into a beast for the Angels and his fantasy managers.
