Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (back) will start against the Detroit Lions on Monday Night Football in Week 8, according to head coach Josh McDaniels. The veteran QB missed the Raiders' Week 7 loss to the Chicago Bears with a back injury but is ready to go for MNF. The combination of Brian Hoyer and Aidan O'Connell under center was ineffective, to say the least, while Garoppolo was out.
