Jimmy Garoppolo A Low-End Play In Week 1

Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo makes his debut for the Silver and Black on Sunday against the Denver Broncos after spending the last six seasons with the 49ers. He joins a Raiders offense that finished 12th in points per game a season ago, propelled by Pro Bowlers WR Davante Adams and RB Josh Jacobs. Injuries are the biggest knock on the 31-year-old, who has missed 30 games over the last five seasons. Garoppolo does not tend to push the ball downfield (ranking 25th among QBs in air yards per attempt last season) and offers the bare minimum on the ground (3.0 rush yards per game average for his career). He is a higher-end QB3 in Week 1 who should only be considered in multi-QB leagues.
