Jimmy Garoppolo 2019 Outlook: Mega-Sleeper At ADP
5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers starting quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is a very enticing QB2 sleeper to consider in the later rounds of fantasy drafts this season. Though he only has 10 professional starts to his name, he has a 16/8 TD/INT ratio in those starts and has averaged a tidy 8.5 yards per attempt as a 49er. Head coach Kyle Shanahan has an impressive history of getting the most from his system's quarterbacks, and the 49ers boast an intriguing array of weapons that include Dante Pettis, Deebo Samuel, Trent Taylor, Marquise Goodwin, George Kittle, and newcomer Tevin Coleman. Though Jimmy G is still bit of an unknown, the best we can do as fantasy football players is to make an educated projection about his range of outcomes. All reports are that he is fully healthy, and it looks like we'll finally get the chance to see what the former heir apparent to Tom Brady is capable of. He's being drafted at 125 overall (QB19), and he's a great bet to vastly outperform his ADP and finish as a top-15 quarterback this season. Target Jimmy Garoppolo as a rock-solid QB2 who's brimming with upside.
