2 months agoMiami Heat shooting guard/small forward Jimmy Butler has been ruled out for Sunday’s game versus the Portland Trail Blazers due to a back injury. Butler popped up on the injury report roughly an hour before tip-off, as it appears his back tightened up, keeping him off the floor for the first time since Nov. 27. Derrick Jones Jr. will enter the starting five in his place, as Kendrick Nunn also figures to be a strong DFS candidate with Miami needing an infusion of offensive life in place of Butler. The next chance that the Heat star has at suiting up comes Wednesday against Indiana.--Jesse Borek - RotoBaller
