The New York Jets will continue to have further discussions, but sources tell FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz that the overwhelming belief is that the team is unlikely to move forward with Aaron Rodgers as their quarterback in 2025. Most folks are expecting the Jets' new regime, led by first-time head coach Aaron Glenn, to go for a fresh start. A resolution is expected sooner than later. After tearing his Achilles on the first offensive series of the year in 2023, the 41-year-old Rodgers returned in 2024 and was unable to capture his previous Pro Bowl form. Although the future Hall of Famer did throw four touchdowns in the regular-season finale to reach 500 for his career, he ultimately was a disappointment, completing only 63% of his passes for 3,879 yards, 28 TDs and 11 interceptions. Rodgers has said he'd like to play again in 2025, but it looks like it won't be in New York.--Keith Hernandez
