Jets Optimistic That They'll Land Aaron Rodgers
2 years agoThe New York Jets have optimism that they are on the brink of landing Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers in the wake of an extensive in-person meeting between the future Hall of Famer and the Jets' brass, according to sources close to the situation. It now comes down to what Rodgers wants to do. If the 39-year-old wants to continue playing but not in Green Bay, there's a high likelihood that he'll finish his career with the Jets. If the Packers end up trading Rodgers, his contract will likely need to be addressed first. The four-time MVP had one of his worst professional seasons in 2022 with an inexperienced receiving corps in Green Bay. The Jets have some nice young pieces on offense, but there's no guarantees he'd bounce back for fantasy managers in 2023 if he joins Gang Greene.
