Jets Not Budging From Offer To Austin Seferian-Jenkins
7 years agoThe New York Jets haven't budged on their two-year, $8 million offer to tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins, a deal that was put on the table before the season ended. There remains interest on both sides to get a deal done, but it's looking more likely that Seferian-Jenkins will hit the open market. ASF is already receiving heavy interest from the Seahawks and Falcons, so he will have suitors. The big tight end cleaned up his off-field issues last year and played in a career-high 13 games, catching 50 passes for 357 yards (7.1 yards per catch) and three touchdowns. He disappeared for large stretches of time in Gang Green's offense, but he could be a touchdown-dependent tight end worth considering in fantasy in a different situation.
