Jeremy Swayman Shuts Out Blackhawks
1 year agoBoston Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman stopped all attempts from Connor Bedard and the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday, posting his 10th career shutout with 23 saves in a 3-0 win. Only Frank Brimsek (16) and Tuukka Rask (11) have had more shutouts with the Bruins before age 25. Swayman hasn't put a foot wrong at the beginning of the new campaign, winning all of his three starts and registering a 1.33 goals-against average with a .957 save percentage. Linus Ullmark is also off to a 3-0-0 start and looks set to line up between the pipes in the next game, with Boston having so far alternated its goalies.
