Jeremy Jeffress Gives Up Homer In Rehab Outing
Milwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Jeremy Jeffress (shoulder) allowed two hits (one homer) and two earned runs while walking none and striking out one in 1 1/3 innings with Triple-A San Antonio on Friday night. He threw 18 of his 25 pitches for strikes in the outing. It was the right-hander's first minor league rehab outing, and he'll likely need a handful more before he makes his season debut with Milwaukee. Jeffress was an All-Star last year and recorded 15 saves for Milwaukee. He's a candidate to see a good amount of save chances now that Corey Knebel (elbow) is done for the season.
