Jeremy Hazelbaker Is Not Rosterable
7 years agoJeremy Hazelbaker was a 29-year-old rookie in 2016. He had a horrible slash line .235average, .295 on-base percentage, and .480 slugging. In his first season for the Diamondbacks in 2017, Hazelbaker improved it to .346/.443/.577 over 41 games. The important thing to know is that he also had an absurdly high batting average on balls in play of .533 so there was no possible way this could continue. He also had a quality walk percentage of 14.8 but an equally opposite and terrible 32.8 strikeout percentage. Because of the boom or bust outcome with Hazelbaker, he ended up back in Triple-A. Hazelbaker is not on the active roster and at 30 years old it is unlikely he is brought back up to the majors, except possibly in a role-playing capacity. If he was in the majors, the humidor would lessen his value even more. Do not draft him in any leagues.
