1 year agoAtlanta Falcons cornerback Jeff Okudah (undisclosed) was carted off the field at training camp practice on Friday. It's unclear exactly what Okudah injured, but we'll have an update for you when we know more about his injury. The former third overall pick by the Detroit Lions in 2020 played in only 10 games in his first two NFL seasons due to injuries before making 15 starts in 2022. The Lions traded him to Atlanta for a fifth-round pick in April, where he was expected to challenge Casey Hayward for a starting job opposite A.J. Terrell. Hopefully Okudah's injury doesn't end up being all that serious, but it's usually never a good sign when a player is carted off the field.
