Jean Segura In 3-For-28 Slump
6 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop Jean Segura will look to break loose from a 3-for-28 slump when the Mariners open up a series with the Padres on Tuesday. Segura has hit over .300 in each month of season with the exception of July and his current .188 average in September. The All-Star shortstop has been a linchpin for the offense this season but has struggled since rumors named him as one of the players involved in the Mariners clubhouse scuffle. Segura should be able to finish the season up strong and is slashing .310/.342/.424 with three triples, nine home runs, 28 doubles, 60 runs batted in and 82 runs scored.
