7 months agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Jean Segura went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI versus the Mets on Wednesday night. Segura has been struggling lately, his batting average in June was .213 prior to this game, so this is a welcome sight for his fantasy owners. Despite the big night, Segura isn't showing many positive signs. He is making hard contact less than 30 percent of the time and has only attempted six steals in 70 games after having 20 or more steals each of the past two seasons. Segura is a fine option in deep leagues or leagues that utilize a middle infield spot, but he's far from must-own at one of fantasy baseball's deepest positions.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
