3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Jean Segura (groin) continues to improve, and if everything goes well on Monday, he could be activated from the injured list on Tuesday. Segura has missed two weeks with a Grade 1 left groin strain but has made really good progress. Fantasy managers will be very happy when he returns, as Segura was hitting .332/.379/.465 with three home runs, 20 RBI, 24 runs scored and six stolen bases in 203 plate appearances covering 49 games at the time of his injury. The two-time All-Star doesn't have a ton of pop, but he gets on base at a high clip and is a nice source of runs at the top of the Phillies batting order. Ronald Torreyes will go back to a bench role when Segura returns this week.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
