Javon Wims Leads Bears With 64 Receiving Yards
5 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Javon Wims caught five passes for 64 yards in the Bears 32-13 preseason loss to the Giants. Wims used his physical frame to make some nice sideline catches and was open on a targeted deep pass that was overthrown by third-stringer Tyler Bray. Wims has intriguing talent but is battling for a spot on a the team in a crowded wide receivers room. He should continue to lead the Bears in targets the remainder of the preseason.
