Jason Myers Bounces Back After Block
5 years agoSeattle Seahawks kicker Jason Myers got off to a rough start on Sunday in Philadelphia when his first attempted field goal of the game was blocked. The 35-yard attempt was substantially deflected at the line of scrimmage and fell dead off to the right of the play. However, Myers was able to bounce back and still put Seattle on the board first when he drilled a 49-yarder near the end of the first quarter. From there, he was given the critical task of knocking through extra points. Two touchdowns were followed by two perfect kicks, and the Seahawks were headed to the next round. Myers will be forced to kick in Green Bay next week, but at least it looks like the winds will be manageable and snow shouldn't be on the field.
