Jarren Duran Shows off Power Stroke

On the same day that the Boston Red Sox learned Jackie Bradley Jr. would be playing elsewhere in 2021, outfield prospect Jarren Duran had a strong spring performance. He doubled and hit a home run against promising young hurler Dean Kremer. The show of power was a good sign for Duran, who is better known for his above-average hit tool and blazing speed. He's now 5-for-10 this spring with four of those hits going for extra bases. The increased pop could elevate Duran's fantasy value if it's sustainable throughout the 2021 season — although he's likely to open the year at the team's alternate training site.
