5 years agoThe Seattle Mariners are shutting down outfield prospect Jarred Kelenic (back) in the Arizona Fall League due to a sore back. The Mariners are just being cautious with the 20-year-old, and his injury is not considered serious. MLB Pipeline ranks Kelenic as the M's top prospect and No. 13 in all of baseball. The 20-year-old should show his face at some point in the big leagues in 2020 after hitting a combined .291/.364/.540 with 23 home runs, 68 RBI and 20 stolen bases in 117 games between Single-A West Virginia, High-A Modesto and Double-A Arkansas. He should most definitely already be stashed in keeper/dynasty leagues if you have the space.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
