Minnesota Wild defenseman Jared Spurgeon posted his second three-point outing of the season on Thursday, finishing a 4-3 win over Toronto with one goal and two assists. He provided a big presence defensively as well with five blocked shots. Charlie Coyle, Mikko Koivu, and Zach Parise also scored for the Wild. Devan Dubnyk had 38 saves in his 13th win of the season. Spurgeon, who's on 19 points for the year, has been relatively quiet offensively since the end of October, but he's started to play some really heavy minutes with Matt Dumba (upper body) out for three months, so his numbers should improve during the latter half of the season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
