Jared Shuster Struggles In MLB Debut

Atlanta Braves left-hander Jared Shuster (0-1) allowed four runs on six hits and five walks over 4 1/3 innings in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Washington Nationals. The 24-year-old made his MLB debut on Sunday and had a rough first inning. He surrendered four runs, with two runs coming off bases-loaded walks. Shuster settled down and fired 3 1/13 scoreless innings before getting pulled in the bottom of the fifth inning. The southpaw threw 79 pitches, landing 45 for strikes. Fantasy managers should take a wait-and-see approach with Shuster before using him as a streamer in Friday's home matchup against the San Diego Padres.
