James Reimer Returns To Action With A Shutout
2 years agoSan Jose Sharks goaltender James Reimer was unbeatable Monday in his first appearance since Jan. 27, posting his second shutout of the season in a 4-0 victory over Seattle. He had to make only 14 saves across the first two periods and stopped 26 shots overall in the end. Reimer had allowed three-plus goals in nine previous outings, so it was a major improvement from him against the Kraken. He helped the Sharks to only their sixth home win of the campaign. Across 29 starts, Reimer has put together a 9-14-6 record with a 3.20 goals-against average and a .898 save percentage. It's been a tough campaign for him, but Reimer hasn't lost any of his last three starts in regulation, which is a positive for him.
