James Harden Struggles In His Comeback Game
2 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard James Harden didn't have a happy return to the lineup on Monday, shooting just 4-for-19 from the field and settling for 21 points in a 132-123 loss to the Rockets. His only makes came from downtown with 11 attempts, and the Beard notched nearly half of his points at the foul line with a 9-for-10 effort. His line also included four rebounds, seven assists, two steals and seven turnovers in 38 minutes. This was actually a dream spot for Harden to stuff the stat sheet, as the game needed double overtime to decide the winner, but he simply couldn't shake off the rust after sitting out a month with a tendon strain in his right foot. He should start to get better with each outing now, and fantasy managers have plenty to look forward to, as Harden looked great on the court prior to his injury.
