James Conner, Diontae Johnson Limited Wednesday
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back James Conner (shoulder) and wide receiver Diontae Johnson (illness) were limited in practice on Wednesday. Conner has been out since Nov. 14 and is questionable, at best, to return in Week 14 against the Cardinals. He would have RB2 upside, though, if he were to return in an excellent matchup and see the lion's share of touches in this backfield. Benny Snell Jr. has been seeing most of the early down work in Conner's absence, but he's just a touchdown-dependent RB3 that doesn't get used in the passing game. Johnson should be able to suit up as the No. 2 next to James Washington. He's not a recommended fantasy play, though, even in the good matchup with Devlin Hodges at QB.
