Jameis Winston 2018 Player Outlook: Undervalued QB1 Option
6 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston turned in a solid 2017 campaign, despite playing through a shoulder injury for a good portion of the season. The young signal-caller threw for over 300 yards and multiple touchdowns in six of his 13 games played, finishing with 3,504 passing yards and 19 scores. The Buccaneers have plenty of weapons on offense this season, which bodes well for Winston's outlook in 2018. The main concern with Winston, not surprisingly, is his three-game suspension to start the season. Winston still has a chance to finish the year as a QB1 but if you do target him in drafts don't reach for him. It would also be wise to draft a QB2 with a favorable early-season schedule to fill in while he's serving his suspension.
