Jamaal Williams Finishes With 110 Yards

Detroit Lions running back Jamaal Williams started over D'Andre Swift and finished with 110 yards and one touchdown on 17 touches versus the San Francisco 49ers. Swift dealt with a groin injury throughout the preseason, so this isn't too surprising. However, Williams played consistently alongside Swift throughout the game. Both running backs had significant roles the entire game, even though the Lions were fostering a comeback attempt for much of the game. Given the Lions lack of wide receivers, these roles could remain for the rest of the season. Williams should be rostered in all leagues and is deserving of flex consideration as well.
