Jalen Brunson Has Big Performance In Friday's Losing Effort
2 years agoNew York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson scored a game-high 41 points in 45 minutes Friday night against Miami but couldn't keep the team alive in the playoffs. Brunson played out of his skin, shooting 14-for-22 from the field and 5-for-10 from downtown, but the rest of the squad combined for only 13 made field goals as the Knicks' season fizzled out with a 96-92 loss. It was Brunson's third consecutive game with at least 30 points, and he completed his line with four rebounds and three steals. Brunson seemingly got better with each game in the postseason and could've eventually done something very special in the Conference Finals. 2022-23 was a major breakthrough campaign for Brunson, and hopefully he can take another step in his development next season.
